Solois asal Jakarta, IQIF rencananya akan berkolaborasi dengan duo funk Mad Madmen untuk tampil di Asean Music Showcase Festival 2022, yang rencananya akan diadakan pada 10 – 11 September 2022 di Haw Par Villa -  Singapura. 

Asean Music Showcase Festival (AMS)  adalah sebuah ajang festival musik interegional pertama di Asia Tenggara. AMS pertama kali diselenggarakan secara daring pada September 2020 ditengah puncak COVID -19, sebagai upaya untuk membantu artis-artis regional untuk tetap terkoneksi dengan fanbase mereka, menambah penggemar internasional baru dan untuk menyusun visi melampaui era pandemic guna membuka kesempatan tur dan bertemu dengan pakar bisnis musik dari seluruh dunia melalui pertemuan daring. Asean Music Showcase Festival 2022 akan diselenggarakan secara offline untuk pertama kalinya dengan Singapura sebagai tuan rumah. Indonesia mengirim 7 musisi antara lain; Pamungkas, Basboi, Littlefingers, Lone, Logic Lost, dan tentunya IQIF dan Mad Madmen. 

Ide kolaborasi ini terjadi dari pertemuan keduanya dalam suatu gig yang sama di tahun 2022. “Gue sudah beberapa kali nonton Mad Madmen perform, dan ketika ketemu kemarin (dalam gig yang sama) barulah kenalan secara langsung dan ternyata ngobrol dan chemistry nya nyambung. Menurut gue performance mereka ajaib dan gue suka lagu-lagu rekaman mereka. Jujur gue excited banget untuk AMS 2022 bersama mereka nanti!”, jelas IQIF. Kolaborasi IQIF dan Mad Madmen dijadwalkan untuk perform di AMS 2022 di hari pertama pukul 5.40 sore waktu Singapura.

IQIF telah merilis debut albumnya pada bulan Oktober 2021 bertajuk “#1”, sedangkan Mad Madmen merilis album terakhir  mereka “Mental Breakdance” pada Agustus 2021 dan baru saja merilis single lepasan berjudul Papillon (Tea for Two) yang menjadi soundtrack dari film seri “Katanya” pada maret 2022 silam.

Jakarta based solo artist, IQIF is planning to collaborate with funky duo Mad Madmen to perform in Asean Music Showcase Festival 2022, which is planned to be held on 10 – 11 September 2022, in Haw Par Villa -  Singapore. 

Asean Music Showcase Festival (AMS) is the first Southeast Asia Interregional Music Festival. AMS was first held online in the midst of Pandemic COVID – 19 in September 2020, as a way to help regional musicians to keep connected with their fan base, growing new International fan base and to be able to exceed  pandemic era with touring opportunities and meeting with business experts around the world through online meetings. AMS 2022 will be held offline for the first time in Singapore as a host. Indonesia sends 7 musicians; Pamungkas, Basboi, Littlefingers, Lone, Logic Lost, and of course IQIF dan Mad Madmen. 

This collaboration idea came from their meeting in a same gig that happened in 2022. IQIF explained, “I have watched Mad Madmen performed for a few times and when I met them at that time, I got the chance to get to know them more, and I found out that We have a good chemistry. I think their performances are wonderful and I like their records. I honestly feel very excited to perform with them in AMS 2022”. The collaboration is scheduled on Day -1 in Stage 3 at 5.30 PM Singapore time. 

IQIF released his debut album in October 2021 titled “#1”, whilst Mad Madmen released their latest album “Mental Breakdance” in August 2021 and they just released their latest single “Papillon (Tea for Two)” which became a soundtrack for a series titled “Katanya” in March 2022.
