Jakarta - Grup musik pop asal Jakarta, SORE resmi merilis album baru bertajuk "Quo Vadis, SORE?" pada Jum'at, 10 Februari 2023, atau berselang 8 tahun usai mereka meluncurkan album ketiga berjudul "Los Skut Leboys" pada September 2015 silam.

Karya teranyar ini tetap menjadi sesuatu yang ditunggu oleh para Kampiun (fans SORE), meski setelah album ketiga, SORE sempat merilis EP bertajuk "Mevrouw" pada 29 Juni 2019 lalu.

Dalam album keempat ini, SORE menyiapkan 14 buah lagu baru dengan tiga nomor yang sudah dirilis sebelumnya dalam bentuk fisik dan digital sebagai teaser, yakni "Real, Is it" (Digital & CD - 2021), "Rosa" (Digital, Postcard Vinyl & Kaset – 2022) dan "Maka terjadilah Sekilas Kisah Murah" (Digital - 2022).

Unit yang kini digawangi oleh Firza Achmar Paloh alias Ade Paloh (vokal), Awan Garnida Kartadinata (bas, vokal), dan Gusti Pramudya Dwi Mulya (dram) itu juga mengajak banyak teman-teman musisi dan komposer untuk membantu penggarapan album ini, mulai dari proses kreatif, rekaman dan finalisasi. Lewat keterangan tertulisnya, Ade Paloh mengatakan bahwa album dan judul "Quo Vadis, SORE?" memiliki makna tersendiri.

"Ini tentang kesan kita (SORE) selama 20 tahun lebih, tentang apa yang sudah kita capai, apakah ini semua banyak manfaatnya bagi kita semua atau hanya berkisar pada Riwayat-riwayat yang menikmati dan berkenan," katanya.

"Dan setelah itu semua, rangkumannya adalah mau kemana lagi kita setelah ini? apakah semua rotasi itu akan berulang?. Karena kita (daun) pun telah tersentuh malam," ucapnya.

Proses penggarapan album keempat SORE dimulai sejak era awal pandemi Covid-19, yakni pada 2020 dan berlangsung hingga awal tahun 2023. Proses mixing dan mastering diserahkan kepada Lafa Pratomo, sementara urusan artwork ditangani oleh Yasmin Hutasuhut, yang diarahkan langsung oleh Ade Paloh.

Produksi album juga melibatkan nama Abdullah Yusro, pemilik label rekaman Setengah Lima Records sebagai eksekutif produser. Album ini, diedarkan di bawah bendera Setengah Lima Records dan dibantu oleh SRM Bookings & Services.

Grup band SORE sendiri memulai perjalanan musiknya pada Februari 2002 silam, ditandai dengan masuknya single "Etalase" di tangga lagu radio Prambors kala itu. Pada Februari 2023 ini, SORE akan berusia 21 tahun.

Album "Quo Vadis, SORE?" sudah dapat didengarkan di berbagai platfom pemutar musik digital mulai Jumat, 10 Februari 2023.

Dengan banyaknya peristiwa yang menemani perjalanan bermusik mereka, SORE berharap album "Quo Vadis, SORE?" dapat menjadi kisah yang berkenan di hati para pendengarnya. [SR]

Jakarta - Pop music group from Jakarta, SORE officially released a new album titled "Quo Vadis, SORE?" on Friday, 10 February 2023, 8 years after they released their third album titled "Los Skut Leboys" in September 2015.

This latest work remains something that the Kampiun (SORE fans) have been waiting for, even though after their third album, SORE had released an EP titled "Mevrouw"on June 29 2019.

In this fourth album, SORE has prepared 14 new songs with three numbers previously released in physical and digital form as teasers, titled "Real, Is it" (Digital & CD - 2021), "Rosa" (Digital, Postcard Vinyl & Cassette – 2022) and "Maka terjadilah Sekilas Kisah Murah" (Digital - 2022).

The band members, Firza Achmar Paloh a.k.a Ade Paloh (vocals), Awan Garnida Kartadinata (bass, vocals), and Gusti Pramudya Dwi Mulya (drums), also invite many musicians and composers friend to help them work on this album, including creative process, recording and finalization. Through his written statement, Ade Paloh said that the album and title "Quo Vadis, SORE?" has its own meaning.

"This is about our (SORE) impressions for more than 20 years, on what we have achieved, whether all of this has many benefits for us all or is it just about some life stories that are enjoyable and pleasing," he said.

"And subsequently, the summary is where are we heading after all of this? Will all the rotations be repeated? Because we (the leaves) have also been touched by the night" he said.

The process of working on SORE's fourth album began in the early of the Covid-19 pandemic era, in 2020 and lasted until early 2023. The mixing and mastering process was handed over to Lafa Pratomo, while artwork were handled by Yasmin Hutasuhut, who was directed by Ade Paloh.

The production of the album also involved Abdullah Yusro, owner of the record label Setengah Lima Records, as executive producer. This album, distributed under Setengah Lima Records and assisted by SRM Bookings & Services.

The band SORE itself began its musical journey in February 2002, marked by their single released called "Etalase" on the Prambors radio charts at that time. In February 2023, SORE will turn 21 years old.

"Quo Vadis, SORE?" album is available on various digital music player platforms starting Friday, 10 February 2023.

With so many things happened during their musical journey, SORE hopes the "Quo Vadis, SORE?" album could be a story that pleases its listeners. [SR]
